Remediation Guidance

Technical guidance for evidence follow-up

PAXECT Remediation Guidance helps teams translate technical findings, missing evidence and supplier questions into clearer follow-up for connected products.

Guidance, not autopilot. Customer control stays central.

What Remediation Guidance means

Remediation Guidance helps turn technical findings into clearer next steps after a Readiness Report, Evidence Dossier review or supplier evidence gap.

It supports teams in understanding what should be reviewed, requested, documented or improved as part of connected-product CRA-readiness preparation.

The purpose is practical follow-up guidance. It is not automatic fixing, legal advice or a compliance decision.

From findings to follow-up

Understand

What does the finding mean, and what evidence is still missing?

Coordinate

Which supplier information, owner review or internal check may be needed?

Record

What should be documented so the next follow-up point remains reviewable?

PAXECT helps structure these questions into concise guidance that teams can review before deciding what action to take.

Guidance, not autopilot

Remediation Guidance is not live remediation and does not automatically modify products, firmware, software or systems.

Any future Managed Remediation or managed action would require explicit customer approval, clear scope, audit trail, validation and rollback planning where relevant.

This keeps remediation decisions under customer control instead of turning guidance into hidden changes.

How it connects to evidence

Remediation Guidance works best when it stays connected to the evidence that triggered the question.

Readiness Reports can show technical findings and evidence status. The Evidence Dossier can show what information may still be incomplete. Supplier Requests can help turn missing supplier evidence into clearer follow-up questions.

Customer control

The customer remains responsible for product decisions, technical documentation, supplier follow-up, implementation choices and legal assessment.

PAXECT supports the evidence and guidance workflow by making findings, missing evidence and follow-up options easier to review.

Guidance can inform a decision, but the decision and any approved implementation remain under customer control.
